The regulations of the Magnificon Winter EXPO 2024
§1 General provisions

The regulations apply to the meeting of the Japanese Culture and Pop Culture Festival - Magnificon Expo 2024, taking place on November 30 - December 1, 2024 - hereinafter referred to as the convention, defined between MiOhi - registered in CEIDG under NIP number 6372027174, being the organizer of the convention, responsible for enforcing compliance with the Regulations, and Convention Participant, as defined in point 2 §1.

The convention participant is any person who:

purchased an admission ticket to the convention on the terms specified in §2

is an Exhibitor - under the conditions specified in §3
-
is a person invited by MiOhi.

Each person staying at the convention venue during its duration is obliged to comply with the provisions of these Regulations.
§2 Participation
1. Any person who is a Convention Participant as defined in point 2 §1, as well as organizers and security services, may stay on the convention premises.
2. Admission tickets to the convention can be purchased online or on site following prices from the table below:

VIP ticket entitles to stay at the convention from 9:00 on the first day of the convention until 18:00 on the last day of the convention, excluding nights from 21:00 to 9:00,
Friday-Sunday ticket entitles to stay at the convention from 9:15 on the first day of the convention until 18:00 on the last day of the convention, excluding nights from 21:00 to 9:15
Saturday ticket entitles to stay at the convention from 9:15 to 21:00 on November 30, 2024,
Sunday ticket entitles to stay at the convention from 9:15 to 18:00 on December 1, 2024,
Children under 10 years old - free admission.
3. The number of tickets of each type is limited.
4. Payment for a ticket specified in point 2a) §2 must be made via online payments. Payments on behalf of third parties are allowed.
5. Ticket presale lasts from 24.08.2024 to 29.11.2024. MiOhi reserves the right to suspend or extend presale, especially if the convention is canceled or all ticket allocations are sold out.
6. Resignation from the purchased ticket in presale and requesting a refund must be reported to MiOhi up to 7 days BEFORE the convention by email to zwroty@miohi.pl, providing reservation details and personal data along with the account number for the refund transfer.
7. MiOhi undertakes to refund the ticket within 21 days after the end of the convention, minus organizational costs in the amount of: 0 PLN for resigning from any type of ticket, in case of resignation earlier than seven days before the start of the convention 110/120/130 PLN for resigning from a Friday-Sunday ticket (220 PLN in the case of a VIP package), within a shorter period than seven days before the start of the convention, 90/100 PLN for resigning from a one-day ticket for Saturday, November 30, 2024, within a shorter period than seven days before the start of the convention, 65/75 PLN for resigning from a one-day ticket for Sunday, December 1, 2024, within a shorter period than seven days before the start of the convention. If the festival takes place on time, there are no deviations from this point.
8. Minors are obliged to provide written consent from parents or legal guardians to participate in the convention. This document should include the following data: the name and surname of the minor and the parent or legal guardian, the date and place of the convention, the contact phone number of the parent or legal guardian. A consent form can be found on the convention website.
9. Each convention participant receives an ID card and a wristband from MiOhi, which they are obliged to wear visibly during the convention.

It is forbidden to share the ID card and/or wristband with third parties.

Persons without ID cards and/or wristbands, with visible signs of attempting to remove the wristband or with a pasted wristband, will be removed from the convention premises.

Lost ID card and/or wristband should be reported to the convention accreditation as soon as possible. There is an option to purchase a new ID card and/or wristband at a price determined individually.
§3 Exhibitors
1. An exhibitor becomes any person who rents a booth at the festival or is part of the crew of the rented booth.
2. The conditions for renting a booth are precisely defined in the Exhibitor Regulations available at https://magnificonexpo.com/
§4 Rights and obligations of the convention participant
1. Participants are required to behave courteously during the convention on its premises.
2. Participants are obligated to adhere to safety rules and to provide assistance to those in need. In the event of any danger threatening the health, life, or property of individuals present during the convention on its premises, participants are required to immediately notify the organizers or security.
3. Participants are obligated to follow the recommendations of the organizers, helpers, and security staff.
4. All individuals present at the convention premises are prohibited from bringing onto the premises, using, or consuming items and substances that may pose a danger to others, including but not limited to: - alcoholic beverages and intoxicants, including narcotics, - all forms of weapons, including practice weapons (this point does not apply to demonstrations, LARPs, or the Cosplay contest. However, each such item must be reported to the Organizer), - flammable, toxic, and radioactive chemical substances, - explosives and pyrotechnic materials, - personal defense items such as pepper spray, electric stun guns, police batons, and telescopic batons.
5. Participants are obliged to maintain cleanliness and order on the convention premises.
6. It is prohibited to damage any property. The perpetrator is responsible for material damages caused.
7. Smoking tobacco is strictly prohibited on the convention premises except in specially designated areas.
8. Alcohol or other intoxicating substances are not permitted on the convention premises, nor is access allowed to individuals under their influence.
9. Placing advertisements, announcements, information, etc., in any form (including affixing any posters) on the entire EXPO KRAKÓW facility is prohibited - all advertising spaces, including walls and doors, are the property of EXPO KRAKÓW, and fees will be charged according to their price list.
§5 Rights and Obligations of MiOhi
1. MiOhi undertakes to provide convention participants with attractions specified in the event program available on the website https://magnificonexpo.com/ before the start of the convention.
2. MiOhi undertakes to update the program of attractions on the website as soon as possible after any changes are made.
3.MiOhi does not accept responsibility for parts of attractions that did not take place due to reasons beyond its control, particularly such as: the absence or unpreparedness of a speaker, or technical problems with equipment belonging to them.
4. MiOhi provides convention participants with protection and a First Aid Point during the convention.
5. MiOhi does not provide convention participants with health insurance. Participants may obtain insurance on their own.
6. MiOhi does not bear responsibility for any random events resulting in the loss of health or life.
7. MiOhi does not accept financial responsibility for items left unattended by participants.
8. MiOhi has the right to cancel the convention, change its date and/or location, without prior notice or explanation, due to reasons beyond its control, particularly including: national mourning, the introduction of pandemic restrictions, illness, incapacity, or any other objectively justifiable reasons preventing the organization of the convention. In such cases, ticket holders have rights as provided by law.
9. MiOhi reserves the right to refuse the sale of tickets and entry to the convention without giving a reason to any individual, particularly those endangering the safety of participants, individuals under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants, individuals threatening the reputation of the Organizers, Co-organizers, or Guests of the convention.
10. Security personnel, with the consent of MiOhi, have the right to inspect the belongings of convention participants to prevent or detect violations of the regulations.
11. MiOhi has the right to remove individuals from the convention premises for violating the regulations. Such individuals are not entitled to a refund of the ticket cost. In the case of minors, parents or legal guardians are notified.
§6 Responsibilities of Participants, Helpers, Exhibitors, and Staff Related to COVID-19
1. All individuals inside the building must adhere to current COVID-19-related restrictions at all times (if such restrictions are in effect during the convention).
§7 Final Provisions
1. MiOhi reserves the right to make changes to the Regulations without prior notification to participants. The current version of the Regulations, immediately following any changes, will be published on the convention's website at http://magnificonexpo.com.
2. Purchasing a ticket by the Participant is equivalent to accepting these Regulations.
3. In matters not covered by these Regulations, decisions are made by MiOhi, guided by the well-being of the Participants based on the Civil Code.
4. Failure to familiarize oneself with the Regulations does not exempt the Participant from compliance with them.
