​Become the Ogarniacz

1. To become an Ogarniacz at Magnificon Winter Expo 2025, applicants must submit their application between March 10, 2025, and April 11, 2025, via the application form. By submitting the application, the applicant agrees to the Ogarniacz regulations and the general festival regulations.

2. All applicants must be at least 18 years old.

3. Participants are required to follow the instructions of the organizers, Ogarniacze, and security staff.

4. The Coordinator has until April 21, 2025, at 11:59 PM to review applications. The Coordinator reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.

5. The number of Ogarniacz positions is limited, and acceptance is not based on the order of applications. The final decision is made solely by the Coordinator. Priority will be given to those who declare their availability for the entire event, including setup and teardown. Information regarding duties, schedules, and other important details will be provided via email after recruitment ends.

6. Festival staff work under a service contract, which is signed individually with each Ogarniacz. Contracts are signed after work schedules are determined and no later than before the start of the first shift. Compensation of 32 PLN gross per hour will be transferred to a bank account within 14 days after the event.

Duties of the Ogarniacz

✅ Arriving at the convention venue at the time and date specified in the confirmation email from the Coordinator after recruitment ends.
✅ Adhering to the duty schedule. The organizers reserve the right to modify shift hours and assigned duties based on event needs.
✅ Following instructions from Organizers and Coordinators.
✅ Maintaining communication and availability, even outside of official shift hours.
✅ Knowing the layout of the festival venue.
✅ Acting respectfully and professionally toward all attendees and providing assistance when needed.
✅ Immediately informing the Organizers, especially the Ogarniacz Coordinator, in case of health issues or accidents at the convention.
 

Prohibited actions for Ogarniacze

❌ Giving their ID badge or wristband to anyone else.
❌ Removing their ID badge or wristband during the convention.
❌ Taking off their staff T-shirt during their shift.
❌ Leaving the convention grounds without informing the Coordinator.
❌ Attempting to fix any equipment without first reporting the issue to the Coordinator and receiving explicit instructions.
❌ Questioning decisions made by the Organizers or Coordinators.
